Remote Intake Coordinator (Part-Time)

Sycamore Counseling Services is growing, and we’re looking for someone special to grow with us.

We’re a Christ-centered, evidence-based counseling practice providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families all across Kentucky—with our primary location in Paducah, and virtual support available statewide. As our team expands, we’re seeking a warm, detail-oriented, and dependable Intake Coordinator to serve as the welcoming voice and first point of contact for our clients.

This is a remote, part-time position (5–10 hours/week) with flexible hours.

What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll play an essential role in creating a safe, compassionate first experience for those reaching out for help. You'll:

  • Answer incoming calls, voicemails, and emails within 24 hours

  • Guide prospective clients through the intake process with care and clarity

  • Support clients in completing paperwork and verifying information

  • Schedule initial appointments using our electronic health record (EHR)

  • Keep client records organized and confidential

  • Provide administrative support to our clinical team (like data entry, follow-ups, and document prep)

  • Keep our communication flowing with warmth and professionalism

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Is a clear and kind communicator

  • Is organized, self-motivated, and detail-focused

  • Is tech-comfortable (familiar with EHRs, Google Workspace, Canva, etc.)

  • Can hold confidentiality and professionalism as sacred

  • Has experience in admin, customer service, or intake work (preferred)

  • Aligns with our mission to serve others through faith-integrated, evidence-based care

Compensation:
Hourly, based on experience
