Frequently asked questions.

What types of counseling do you offer?

We provide individual, couples, and family counseling for clients across Kentucky. Our specialties include Christian couples counseling using the Gottman Method, anxiety therapy for women, and (soon) therapy for children and adolescents with trauma or emotional challenges.

Do I have to be a Christian to receive counseling?

No, not at all! While our counselors have additional training in integrating theology with psychology, we welcome clients from all backgrounds. We tailor every session to honor your beliefs and goals—faith is never forced.

Do you take insurance?

No. We operate as a private-pay practice, meaning we do not bill insurance. This allows us to focus fully on your care without the limitations or diagnoses often required by insurance companies. We can provide a superbill upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

How do I know if counseling is right for me?

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply know something needs to change, counseling can help. You don’t have to have it all figured out—just a willingness to begin. We offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you decide if we’re a good fit.

Where are you located?

Our primary office is in Paducah, KY (517 Broadway St, Suite 100). We also have a smaller location in Louisville and offer virtual counseling to clients anywhere in Kentucky.

What can I expect in the first session?

Your first session is about getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brings you in. We'll walk through your concerns and begin building a plan for care together in a compassionate, judgment-free space.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes! We offer secure online counseling for individuals and couples across the state of Kentucky using a HIPAA-compliant video platform.

What ages do you work with?

Currently, we serve adults and couples. We are currently expanding our services to include children and adolescents.
